The move from analog to digital is a transition between ritual and precision. By leaving the reel, we lost the physical texture of the grain and the "mandatory" patience of developing, but we gained the freedom to capture the invisible and an almost infinite technical capacity. In digital we gain absolute control; In analogue, we preserve the soul of the unpredictable.
