Ríos y Mares

Photographing the sea, the sun, and the horizon is capturing the scale of our own freedom. It is an exercise in silence where immensity reminds us that, faced with the infinite, the only thing that truly matters is the clarity with which we choose to look.
En el olvido

En el olvido

This is how this ship sits on the shores of San José, Uruguay. There it waits for the passage of time to do its work. The day I visited, I was able to capture some interesting images; there were several interesting shots. Something I was able to document in a YouTube video.

En lo alto del cerro

En lo alto del cerro

This fabulous view can be enjoyed from a viewpoint in San Martín de los Andes. A place I hope to return to soon.

En el Valle del Lunarejo

En el Valle del Lunarejo

If I'm not mistaken, this is the Indio waterfall in the Lunarejo Valley, Rivera, Uruguay. It was a very hot day, so I took advantage of the opportunity to have a refreshing swim. The visit yielded some great photos.

Explorando campo adentro

Explorando campo adentro

One of the things I love most is discovering places like this. This is a lagoon in a remote location, where I had an interesting encounter with a kingfisher. This photo was taken in Riachuelo, Colonia, Uruguay.

Las playas de San Pedro

Las playas de San Pedro

This photo was taken in the Barrancas de San Pedro, in the department of Colonia, Uruguay. It was another day of photography, during which I also filmed another video for the YouTube channel. As evening fell and the sun set, I was able to illuminate the scene in great detail. The resulting image, composed of a variety of shapes, tones, and colors, I believe is quite interesting.

Recorrida en El Chaltén

Recorrida en El Chaltén

This photo was taken at Lago del Desierto, El Chaltén, Santa Cruz, Argentina. On that occasion I was visiting this interesting place, on a gray and very cold day. The topology of the place shows that its coasts are quite arid and desolate. However, it is a place full of vegetation and fauna.

Un Regalo del Cielo

Un Regalo del Cielo

This photo was taken on the property around El Tren del Fin del Mundo, Ushuaia, Argentina. While the large number of tourists chose to get ready to tour the place aboard this train, I chose to get away and find this place. Below it there was a stream and above it an imposing hill. At some point for a few minutes the sun came out and gave me a spectacle for my eyes and the lens of my camera. Incredibly, the sun's rays hit behind the tree, on the hill, and this allowed me to achieve an impressive contrast. What a nice place!

Montevideo y su rambla

Montevideo y su rambla

This place has been the cradle for my development as a photographer, its streets, parks and coasts were the scenes of eternal practices and approaches. Perfection is found in trial and error. Although it is unattainable, each new composition brings us a little closer to that ideal that we want to achieve. This photo was taken in the Parque Rodo neighborhood, Montevideo, Uruguay.
