Mi tierra, Uruguay

Photography in Uruguay is a constant dialogue with the stillness of our mountains. Capturing that relief of stone and horizon is not only about searching for the perfect frame, but about honoring the roots and pulse of the land we inhabit. In each shot, the landscape stops being a setting and becomes an identity, reminding us that portraying our surroundings is the most honest way to find ourselves.

I can't say exactly where the place where I found this landscape is. I know it was difficult to get to him; It was the result of a day of photographic exploration. Another day in which I learned wonderful things with my friend, the camera. She speaks a language that you have to know how to interpret; It asks me to make certain adjustments, something that over time we have learned to understand and play harmoniously with its capabilities.

That day there were many things that caught my attention. Not only the character in the background with his fishing rod, but also the imposing landscape that I found around me.
