Sony FX3 Firmware Update v7.02
Major update featuring BIG6 interface and Blackmagic RAW support
The firmware update v6.01 for the Sony FX30 brings the features of this APS-C camera on par with its older brother, the FX3, introducing professional-grade improvements. The major addition is the "BIG6Cinema Control Screen, which revolutionizes access a exposure settings through a video-optimized touch interface. This allows clear monitoring of essential parameters even under demanding shooting conditions.
With this release, FX30 users can now record externally in Blackmagic RAW (BRAW) a format via HDMI, expanding high-end post-production options. Support for 1.5x and 1.6x anamorphic decompression is also included, making it easier to use specialized anamorphic lenses. S&Q mode now allows for quick frame rate changes, streamlining the transition between slow and fast motion without interruptions to the creative flow.
Important: If your FX30 has v1.02 or earlier installed, it is mandatory to install v1.05 first before proceeding with v6.01. This update not only adds imaging features, but also improves overall system stability and support for the Creators' App for wireless transfers and advanced remote control.
