Godox TT350II S Thinklite TTL Flash

Compact Sony TTL flash with GN36, HSS up to 1/8000 s and a 2.4 GHz wireless system

Description

Godox TT350II S Thinklite TTL Flash

The Godox TT350II S Thinklite TTL Flash is the Sony version of the second-generation Thinklite compact flash: a hot-shoe TTL unit powered by two AA batteries, weighing 216 grams without cells and measuring 144 by 65 by 37mm. It keeps the brand's 2.4 GHz wireless system, with 32 channels and a range of roughly 100 metres for multi-light setups.

Its guide number is GN36 (ISO 100 at 1/1), and it offers automatic TTL and manual control with output from 1/256 to 1/1 in 0.1 or 0.3 steps, exposure compensation from -3 to +3 EV, and high-speed sync up to 1/8000 salong with first and second curtain. The head tilts from -7 to 120 degrees vertically and rotates 270 degrees horizontally for bouncing off walls and ceilings, and a 5300 K LED modelling light helps focus in low light.

A colour HD display gathers the settings, and with 2500 mAh NiMH cells it claims about 210 full-power flashes with a 2.5-second recycle. The S version adds global shutter sync. For social events, portraits and reportage with a light kit, the Godox TT350II S Thinklite TTL Flash balances power, size and wireless control without weighing down the bag. Because it runs on AA cells, a spare pair extends a shoot without waiting for a charge.
