RETO Ultra Wide & Slim Camera 35mm

The RETO Ultra Wide & Slim is a reusable film camera for 35mm rolls with 24 × 36 mm frames. Its 22mm f/11 ultra-wide lens, made of two acrylic elements, provides a broad field of view that suits cityscapes, small interiors and group shots where a lot has to fit in the frame. Focus is fixed from one metre to infinity and the shutter runs at 1/125 s, so there is no aperture or speed to set: point and shoot.

The ABS body measures 100 × 59 × 28 mm and weighs 68.8 g, which makes it easy to keep in a pocket. Film advance and rewind are manual: load a roll, use the lever between frames and rewind at the end. Because there are no menus or electronic settings, the camera comes down to the essentials and the handling takes minutes to learn. It is available in seven colours, an aesthetic choice that also helps to spot it inside a bag.

It is intended for casual photography, short trips, parties and outings where carrying gear is not the point. It takes 35mm film from any brand and development works at any lab, with no special process.
