NIKKOR Z 24-120mm f/4 S

NIKKOR Z 24-120mm f/4 S is a full-frame Z-mount standard zoom designed as a practical one-lens option for photographers and videographers who cover many subjects in the same day. The 24-120mm range moves naturally from landscape, architecture and street framing to portrait and short-telephoto compression without stopping to change lenses, while the constant f/4 aperture keeps exposure behavior consistent through the full zoom travel. Nikon places it in the S-Line for controlled aberrations, strong contrast and dependable edge-to-edge detail, qualities that matter when scenes change quickly and working distance is never fixed. At about 630 g, with a 77 mm filter thread and roughly 84 x 118 mm dimensions, it balances portability and confidence for long shooting days. Nikon announced this model on October 28, 2021, and commercial availability followed on January 28, 2022.

The optical formula uses 16 elements in 13 groups, including 3 ED elements, one aspherical ED element and three additional aspherical elements to suppress both axial and lateral chromatic aberration. Nano Crystal Coat and ARNEO Coat help reduce flare and ghosting under hard backlight, and the fluorine-coated front element improves cleaning speed in regular field use. A 0.35 m minimum focus distance across the zoom range plus a 0.39x maximum reproduction ratio makes the lens useful for detail work, product framing and environmental close-ups without moving to a dedicated macro lens. Dual STM-based multi-focusing supports quiet, responsive AF for stills and video, and the barrel includes a customizable control ring plus a programmable Fn button for direct access to ISO, exposure compensation and other frequent settings.

In everyday use, this lens is strongest in assignments where efficiency and image quality must coexist: travel, weddings, events, documentary street work, editorial production and hybrid photo-video creation. At 24 mm it captures broad context in interiors and landscapes; in the 35-70 mm zone it delivers natural perspective for reportage; from 85-120 mm it supports flattering portrait compression with smooth background separation for an f/4 zoom. For video, quiet AF, controlled breathing behavior and fixed-aperture consistency simplify follow shots, pans and variable-light scenes. Nikon also released firmware Ver.1.20 on May 14, 2026, with improvements to aperture-operation stability and lower mechanical aperture noise during use. It does not replace a fast f/2.8 zoom for the most demanding low-light jobs, but as a balanced optic for quality, reach and carry weight, it remains one of the most complete all-purpose choices in the Z system.

Canon RF 24-105mm f/4.0-7.1 IS STM
Canon USA Authorized. Items Include: Canon RF 24-105mm f/4-7.1 IS STM Lens, 64GB Memory Card, Camera Bag Designed for everyday versatility, the Canon RF 24-105mm f/4-7.1 IS STM covers wide-angle to short-telephoto focal lengths in a compact, lightweight form. Its flexible zoom range makes it ideal for travel, street photography, family moments, and casual video work, allowing creators to move seamlessly between landscapes, portraits, and close framing without changing lenses. A built-in Optical Image Stabilizer provides up to five stops of correction, helping reduce camera shake when shooting handheld in low-light conditions or at longer focal lengths. This stabilization improves sharpness for stills and produces smoother footage for video, expanding creative flexibility when shooting without a tripod in real-world environments. The STM stepping motor delivers smooth, quiet, and precise autofocus performance, making the lens well suited for both photography and video recording. Focus transitions appear natural and unobtrusive, while full-time manual focus override allows fine adjustments when needed, supporting confident operation for vloggers and hybrid content creators. A dedicated Center Macro Focus position enables close-up shooting with a 1:2 maximum magnification and a short minimum focusing distance, ideal for capturing food, details, and small subjects. The configurable Control Ring adds intuitive access to exposure settings, while the rounded seven-blade diaphragm produces pleasing background blur.
