DJI Osmo 360

The DJI Osmo 360 is a compact fixed-lens 360 camera built around a small self-contained body rather than a traditional interchangeable-lens camera layout. Its feature set combines 1-inch-class 360 imaging, native 8K 360 video, 120MP 360 photos and 4K/120fps Boost Video with a 170° field of view. It also includes a 2.0-inch touchscreen, 183 g body weight, 128GB of built-in storage with microSD expansion, a Li-ion 1S battery and waterproof operation down to 10 m for the camera body.

For photography users, its value is the ability to capture the full surroundings first and decide the final composition later. The 120MP 360 photo mode gives useful room for reframing, panoramic output and vertical or horizontal crops, while the 8K 360 video mode preserves more detail for immersive edits. This makes the camera especially relevant when the subject, camera direction or final platform may change after capture, such as travel, action, sports, events and location documentation.

In practical use, the Osmo 360 fits immersive vlogging, action sequences, travel footage, walkthroughs, social clips, behind-the-scenes coverage and fast-moving scenes where repeating a take is difficult. Its all-in-one design keeps the kit simple, while the Osmo magnetic ecosystem helps with quick mounting changes. It is not a replacement for a controlled stills camera system, but it serves a different role: capturing presence, movement and context with enough flexibility to build the final frame in editing.
