Sony Alpha 7R VI Firmware 1.02
Official firmware update 1.02 for the Sony Alpha 7R VI camera adding Preset Focus support and monitor behavior fixes.
The Olympus PEN-F Custom Firmware HSL Alpha is an open-source community modification developed atop the official 3.1 stock firmware for the acclaimed rangefinder-styled Olympus PEN-F Micro Four Thirds mirrorless camera. Engineered as part of the reverse-engineering research repository oly_fw_analysis by developer fishcu, this experimental system modification introduces deep in-camera color grading options long sought after by creative photographers.
The headline technical breakthrough in this alpha release is the introduction of independent Hue and Lightness adjustment channels alongside the native Saturation control within the front creative COLOR dial profiles. This unlocks a full three-dimensional HSL color synthesis pipeline with expanded parameter ranges spanning from minus seven to plus seven per channel, enabling photographers to formulate intricate vintage emulsion film simulation recipes directly inside the camera engine.
Additionally, extended Hue and Lightness configurations are safely preserved through regular settings backup and restore operations in OM Workspace desktop software. The Olympus PEN-F Custom Firmware HSL Alpha distribution bundle includes both the patched custom binary and a clean stock-restoration binary for complete rollback safety. As experimental third-party code not endorsed by OM Digital Solutions, installation is carried out entirely at the user's discretion via the documented offline updater.
