Summary

The DZOFILM Arcana 75mm T2.1 1.5x Anamorphic is the short-telephoto option in the Arcana series, made for full-frame cinema cameras with PL mount and 1.5x anamorphic squeeze. Compared with the 32mm and 45mm lenses, it is better suited to portraits, detail shots and scenes where stronger background separation is part of the look. It keeps the same constant T2.1 aperture, oval bokeh and horizontal flare character that define the set.

The optical formula uses 15 elements in 11 groups, with a 14-blade iris, 43.3mm image circle, 80mm front diameter, 80mm length and M77 filter thread. Matching dimensions matter on compact cinema builds because the lens can move from wider coverage to a tighter perspective without forcing major accessory changes. That helps crews preserve balance, matte-box position and follow-focus placement across the Arcana trio.

The 0.78m close-focus distance and 0.116x maximum magnification make the 75mm useful for controlled close-ups, stylized interviews, narrative portraits, product details and music-video imagery where compression and subject isolation are desirable. It is the most selective focal length in the series, offering a more intimate anamorphic look while still keeping the compact handling and shared mechanical design that make Arcana practical for smaller productions.
