Summary

The SG-image AF 35mm f/1.4 LEGACY from SG-image is a fast autofocus standard prime lens engineered specifically for APS-C mirrorless cameras in Fujifilm X mount. Providing a 35mm focal length equivalent to 53mm in 35mm full-frame terms, this prime offers a natural field of view close to human vision, making it an essential and versatile companion for environmental portraits, street photography, travel, and candid everyday storytelling.

Its generous fast f/1.4 maximum aperture delivers dependable low-light capability and pleasing background separation, complemented by a 9-blade circular diaphragm that produces smooth, organic out-of-focus highlights. Optically, it utilizes a 6-group, 7-element construction where every single element is crafted from high-refractive-index optical glass, ensuring sharp edge-to-edge definition, rich contrast, and effective aberration suppression throughout the aperture range.

Engineered with a vintage-inspired all-metal exterior that features a tactile clicked aperture ring with 1/3 EV increments, the SG-image AF 35mm f/1.4 LEGACY maintains a lightweight footprint weighing only 227 grams. Measuring 70mm in diameter by 54mm in length with a 52mm filter thread and a close focusing distance of 0.35 meters, it integrates a responsive, quiet STM stepping motor that fully supports camera body eye-detection and tracking autofocus.
