Summary

The TTartisan Neo AF 50mm f/1.8 is an extremely compact and lightweight prime autofocus lens designed for full-frame mirrorless cameras. Weighing just 157 grams, it adopts a minimalist philosophy by eliminating the focus and aperture rings, relying entirely on the camera body for these controls.

Optically, it uses a STM stepper motor for smooth and quiet autofocus. It has a 52 mm filter thread and a minimum focusing distance of 0.48 m. The Neo series stands out for its clean and customizable design., with support for DIY (do it yourself) 'skins'.

In practice, it becomes an affordable and attractive option for everyday photography. Its versatile 50mm focal length combined with the bright f/1.8 aperture makes it exceptionally suitable for street scenes, travel photography and casual portraits.
