Mads Peter Iversen

@madspeteriversen

Denmark-based landscape photographer and visual educator, with an academic training as a teacher and a Master in Educational Philosophy. He has been professionally dedicated to landscape photography since 2016, although his interest in video editing dates back to 2002. His work focuses on "Fine Art", capturing everything from epic views in Atlantic countries such as Iceland, Norway and the Faroe Islands, to serene and minimalist forest scenes typical of Scandinavia. His aesthetic is deeply influenced by the popular culture of the '90s and '00s, citing films like The Lord of the Rings and video games like Warcraft as sources of inspiration for his atmospheric compositions. On his YouTube channel and his courses, Mads teaches that a photograph is not finished in the camera, but rather comes to life in the editing phase, where the author's mood and artistic vision define the final work.
