It took Nikon 10 years to understand this: 45MP DX?

The rumor of a professional Nikon DX should no longer be read only as a possible heir to the D500. That angle matters, but it falls short. If the figure of 45 MP in APS-C were real, the central question would be different: Nikon would have to demonstrate what it can build around that sensor!
