The 7Artisans AF 85mm f/1.8 is a portrait lens that combines high-resolution optics with an autofocus system STM (stepper motor) fast and silent. Designed to cover Full Frame sensors, it offers that classic background compression so sought after by professional photographers, allowing for superb subject isolation. Its construction is entirely metal, but maintains a balanced weight of approximately 437g, making it much more manageable than the f/1.4 versions of the competition without sacrificing the feeling of robustness.

On a technical level, this lens makes an important difference by including a customizable Fn button in the barrel and a port USB-C integrated for firmware updates, ensuring compatibility with the latest eye tracking systems (Eye-AF).
