Summary

The Laowa ACRIS 35mm f/2.8 Macro APO is a groundbreaking full-frame macro prime lens combining true 1:1 magnification with a responsive and quiet STM autofocus drive system. Engineered to bridge the gap between microscopic close-up imaging and environmental storytelling, its versatile 35mm focal length allows photographers to document exquisite textures and fine details while retaining a natural sense of spatial depth and surrounding background context.

Featuring an advanced Apochromatic (APO) optical formula consisting of 13 elements in 10 groups, this lens virtually eliminates longitudinal and lateral chromatic aberrations across the entire focusing range, delivering crisp sharpness and faithful color rendition right from its maximum f/2.8 aperture. The robust metal barrel incorporates comprehensive weather sealing against dust and moisture, a protective Frog Eye front coating, an integrated physical aperture ring, a customizable function button, a 9-blade circular diaphragm, and a close minimum focusing distance of 180mm.

For commercial product photographers, food stylists, botanical researchers, and documentary filmmakers, the LAOWA ACRIS 35mm f/2.8 Macro APO optimizes production speed by permitting seamless transitions from ultra-detailed macro captures to wider contextual compositions without swapping lenses or rebuilding delicate studio lighting arrangements.
