Summary

The SG-image AF 35mm f/2.2 Silver is a wide-angle prime lens for full-frame mirrorless cameras, built around a straightforward mix of classic framing, autofocus and very low carrying weight. Its 35mm focal length sits in the familiar documentary and everyday range, while the f/2.2 maximum aperture offers useful available-light flexibility and gentle background separation. With a silver all-metal barrel, a stated weight of 163 g and a length of only 36mm, it is presented less as a large professional optic and more as a compact lens that can stay on the camera for long walks and daily shooting.

For photographers comparing small primes, the main value is the balance of size, price and mount coverage. SG-image places it in the EZICARI series and sells the Silver version with Sony E, Nikon Z and L-mount options, so the optical design belongs in one cross-mount record rather than separate per-mount entries. The 35mm view keeps enough environment in the frame for storytelling, street scenes and travel notes, yet it can still frame people naturally for environmental portraiture. The f/2.2 aperture is not as fast as many f/1.8 primes, but it keeps the lens slim and supports a lighter kit.

In practical use, the SG-image AF 35mm f/2.2 Silver makes the most sense as a walkaround prime, a discreet street lens, or an inexpensive everyday option for a full-frame mirrorless body. It can complement larger zooms or faster primes when the goal is to carry less, react quickly and keep the camera approachable. The available official information does not publish every optical, close-focus, filter or sealing specification, so its strongest case is portability and value rather than harsh-weather work, macro shooting, action coverage or a deeply specified professional control layout.
