Sony FX5

The Sony FX5 is a full-frame Cinema Line camera from Sony aimed at productions that need a relatively compact body without giving up serious cinema and broadcast capability. On availability, Sony Japan set November 20, 2026 as the ship date, thirteen weeks after the August 21, 2026 target from the original July 22, 2026 announcement, with the DVF-EL1 OLED viewfinder, XLR-H2 handle and VMC-BNCU1 timecode cable arriving the same day. That date comes from Sony Japan and has no equivalent US or European confirmation yet, where dealers still list preorders with estimated delivery in mid-November.
