Now we can Catalog Our Images in NDPix
A few weeks ago I launched NDPix, a photo editor designed from the photographer's perspective. In that initial version the focus was to present it and hear what the community thought. I have to say that the response exceeded all my expectations: something I had my doubts about generated an overwhelming reaction.
There were those who praised it, others classified it as a slightly green start, and others pointed out that it lacked this or that. The truth is that among all these opinions I was making a list of urgent points to resolve and identifying which ones should be left for a second stage.
What stood out most was the lack of a system to catalog the images, a lack I took as an immediate priority. It has been long weeks of development and testing, but we finally achieved a stable and bug-free version.
NDPix now allows you to create albums and internal projects, view which photos are edited and which are not, and I also incorporated a system to rate images and subclassify them.

For future stages, it will be necessary to continue improving the editing tools already available and incorporate new ones. Within my roadmap is developing a way to compare the before and after of each photograph, a novel way of grouping images and the implementation of Bracketing or Stacking.
These changes, and those to come, would not be possible without the constant feedback of a community tired of the usual photo editing tools. NDPix was born from the intersection of two worlds: photography and software development. From that combination a different tool emerged, and I invite you to download and try it, available for both Windows and Mac.

If you have already downloaded it, check the App menu for the “Check for Updates” option, otherwise I download here.
Thank you very much, and I look forward to your opinion!
