Fujinon XC 13-33mm f/3.5-6.3 v1.01
Improved Image Stabilization performance.
The firmware update v1.5.0 for the Canon EOS R50 incorporates improvements aimed at a compatibility and user experience. Canon indicates that it optimizes the display when using the RF-S7.8mm F4 STM DUAL and adds two new selectable aspect ratios, [3:2] and [1:1], expanding the framing options available in camera.
While it doesn't change the nature of the EOS R50 as a lightweight, affordable body, it does make it more flexible for content creation and for setups that take advantage of the RF-Ssystem's special optics. The overall stability improvement also aims for a a smoother operation between shooting modes and a a more consistent experience on the day a day.
It is a recommended version for EOS R50 owners who want to maintain compatibility with the most recent Canon ecosystem and add new composition possibilities without altering their workflow. In a camera intended for users who learn, travel, or produce mixed content, these discrete improvements often feel quick in real-world use.
