Fringer NF-GFX Firmware v1.60
Autofocus and aperture refinements for Nikon F on Fujifilm GFX
The Fringer EF-FX Series Firmware v3.10 update delivers extensive enhancements for the entire family of Fringer EF-FX smart adapters, including the EF-FX Pro III, EF-FX Pro II, EF-FX Ultra, and EF-FX II models. This release significantly refines autofocus tracking algorithms, providing faster phase-detection autofocus (PDAF) response and superior precision across single-shot and continuous focus modes on Fujifilm X-mount camera bodies.
This update introduces broadened lens compatibility for popular third-party zoom and prime lenses from Sigma, Tamron, and Tokina, while maintaining flawless operation with Canon EF USM and STM optics. The electronic aperture drive mechanism has been fine-tuned for smooth step transitions during exposure adjustments. In addition, optical image stabilization coordination (IS, OS, VC) operates in full harmony with Fujifilm's in-body image stabilization (IBIS) systems.
Updating the adapter is effortless via its built-in micro-USB data port without requiring external docks or dedicated software installation. Once updated, full EXIF metadata transmission is preserved, including focal length and aperture data, ensuring precise lens profile corrections and effortless cataloging in professional photography workflows with Fujifilm mirrorless systems.
