Nick Carver is a professional photographer and instructor based in Orange County, California, with over 18 years of experience in the industry. His career is mainly divided into three areas: architectural photography for commercial properties, teaching through online courses and his personal artistic work in medium format and large format. He is widely recognized for his YouTube channel, where he documents in detail his photographic expeditions (series On Location), showing not only the final capture, but the entire technical process and the psychological and logistical challenges of working with analog film in the field.

His artistic aesthetic is deeply linked to desert of the american southwest, with a predilection for the landscapes of Mojave and Sonora, as well as ancient buildings and human creations that often go unnoticed. Nick uses a "hybrid workflow" where he captures images on 4x5 film or 6x17 panoramic formats and then digitizes them into fine art prints. His teaching style is characterized by rigorous technical clarity, promoting mastery of the manual mode and respect for the traditional medium of chemical photography.
