NDPix: my own photo editor to leave Lightroom behind

NDPix: my own photo editor to leave Lightroom behind

For years I used Lightroom and Photoshop as part of my photography workflow. They are powerful, well-known and very complete tools. But over time I started to feel that, for many of my real needs, I was paying too much for something I no longer used as much.

From there it was born NDPix, a simpler, more direct photo editor designed for those who want to open an image, edit it and export it without depending on subscriptions, clouds or heavy workflows.

The idea is not to replace all the functions of the large professional editors, but to offer a more limited, clear and easy-to-use tool. An app designed for photographers who want to focus on the image, not on fighting with the software.

With NDPix you can work on your photographs From a simple interface, make basic editing adjustments, crop, use masks and export your images directly. Plus, your original photos stay on your computer and aren't modified or sent to outside services.

I also prepared a video where I tell how the idea was born, why I decided to create this application and what this first version can do.

You can download NDPix from the official website and try it for yourself:

The free version allows you to edit photos with some restrictions, but without preventing the basic use of the application.

Paid versions are also available for those who want to access more functions or support the development of the project:

NDPix is an application in development, so it will improve over time thanks to new features, adjustments and user feedback. If you were looking for a simpler way to edit your photos without depending so much on Lightroom, I invite you to download it and try it.
